FAQs: Plan Your Magical Holiday Experience with Ease
Your Candlelight Tour Questions, Answered
Planning your visit? We’ve gathered everything you need to know to make the most of your Candlelight Tour experience.
Starting Friday, November 14, 2025, you can purchase advance tickets (Tour Books) online for $30 each through midnight on Friday, December 12.
During the Tour, you can buy a Tour Book (Ticket) at the Ticket Table in the Sanctuary of St. Paul United Methodist Church (UMC) for $35 each.
Want something extra special? Choose a VIP Ticket for $40, which includes a one-hour guided tour of Historic Oakland Cemetery on Saturday, December 13, at 4:00 p.m. (Advance purchase required.)
We love kids—but this event is best enjoyed by adults. Most little ones don’t get quite as excited about architecture, crown molding, or paint swatches (we’ve tried!).
If possible, treat yourself to a quiet evening and leave the kids at home. If that’s not an option, please contact us to ask about childcare availability at St. Paul UMC.
Children who attend must have their own Tour Book (Ticket) and be supervised at all times.
If you purchased online, your Tour Book is your ticket into the homes.
Pick it up at the Ticket Table in the Sanctuary of St. Paul UMC, located at:
501 Grant St SE, Atlanta, GA 30312
Ticket Table Hours:
Saturday: 5:30–9:00 p.m.
Sunday: 4:30–8:00 p.m.
We accept cash and most major credit cards.
VIP ticket holders: Meet at the Bell Tower in Historic Oakland Cemetery by 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, to receive your Tour Book before the 4:00 p.m. tour.
Yes. Each guest must have a Tour Book to enter the homes. Volunteers will check your booklet at each stop before admitting you.

Because Grant Park’s homes were built over a century ago, some may include steps or narrow entries.
St. Paul UMC is fully accessible and has an elevator that can be reached from Sydney St SE or St. Paul Ave SE.
Once you’ve picked up your Tour Book, you’re free to explore the featured homes in any order on either day during Tour hours.
Yes! Your Tour Book grants you access inside the featured homes. Some areas may be closed off for safety, privacy, or the comfort of pets.
No problem! You can continue your Tour on Sunday—just bring the same Tour Book.
Please note: you can’t revisit homes that have already been checked off.
Yes, at St. Paul UMC.
Unfortunately, restrooms aren’t available inside the featured homes.
No shuttle service is offered. Some homes are close enough to walk between, but you’ll likely need to drive to all featured homes.
Street parking is available near each stop.
Yes!
The Mad Greek Food Truck will be parked outside St. Paul UMC both nights.
Visit the Artist Market Bake Sale for homemade treats and warm drinks by donation.
Or stop by one of our neighborhood sponsors—Agave, Grant Park Market, Little Tart, Mediterranea, Mezcalitos, or Six Feet Under Pub & Fish House—before or after your tour.
