GardenHood - 353 Boulevard

Owned by a local "hort-heads" Melodie McDanal, Scott McMahan, David McMullin and Valerie Barton, GardenHood would like to extend a very special welcome this year to all tourgoers during their extended hours until 10pm on Friday, Dec. 12 and Saturday, Dec 13.

Goodies and holiday sangria will be catered by next-door-neighbor Stone Soup Kitchen, while a local musician will be providng live music.

Situated on the site where former nursury Urban Gardener once stood, GardenHood is proud to offer intown residents a reprieve from the ho-hum of big-box garden centers by providing unique varieties of native, ornamental and highly-cultivated specimens. As recently quoted in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Scott McMahan states they "have plants you are familiar with, but with a twist."

Be sure to cheeck out their native Christmas accents while you're there, such as albino nandina berries, varigated holly wreaths and 75-foot boxwood garland. For more information on GardenHood, visit gardenhoodatlanta.com or become a fan on Facebook.
